Post-traumatic neuropathy of the trigeminal nerve: a retrospective analysis.

As part of scientific research on nerve injuries within the head and neck region, we want to investigate the patterns of symptoms, clinical and radiological findings and outcomes of nerve injuries in the head and neck region. Moreover, we want to examine how this translates into costs for patients and society, the impact on work absence and medication use.
Files from the OMS department at UZ Leuven will be reviewed between January 2010 and October 2018. A collaboration will be organised with the Christelijke Mutualiteit (CM) to calculate costs, work absence and medication use. All patients involved were informed by letter.
