Everything back under control at the Gasthuisberg campus after fake bomb scare

On Wednesday morning between 9 and 9:30 there was an incident at UZ Leuven. A person left a note with a fake bomb alert in the reception hall of the Gasthuisberg campus. The internal hospital surveillance and the police were contacted. The general reception hall was evacuated and the police could apprehend the suspect. In the meantime business is back to normal at the Gasthuisberg campus.
