Route directions
By bus or train
Leuven train station is about 5 km from the sports medical advisory centre (SMAC). Buses run regularly to the SMAC, with the final stop located near the main entrance.
- Line 600 – Leuven outer ring bus (get off at Heverlee sportcentrum)
- Line 601 – Leuven inner ring bus (get off at Ijzermolenstraat)
- Line 2 – Kessel-Lo – Heverlee (get off at Naamsepoort)
- Line 1 – Leuven – Heverlee (get off at Naamsepoort)
The Heverlee sportcentrum stop is about 200 metres from the SMAC.
If you get off at Ijzermolenstraat or Naamsepoort, you will need to walk 400 m and 700 m, respectively, to reach SMAC.

By car
Motorway (E40/E314)
- On the E40 or E314 motorway, take the Leuven (15) exit.
- Follow Koning Boudewijnlaan/N264 to Leuven’s ring road (R23) and turn right.
- Keep right and turn immediately after the supermarket.
Via the Leuven ring road
- The SMAC is located just outside the Leuven ring road, between Tervuursepoort and Naamsepoort.
- From Naamsepoort, drive west (towards Tervuursepoort) until you reach the intersection with Kapucijnenvoer.
- Turn left (under the viaduct), then immediately left again.
- Keep right and turn immediately after the supermarket to enter the site.

Parking
You can park for free within a 1-minute walk:
- Behind the gymnasium
- At the Sportcentrum - De Spuye car park
Both car parks are accessible via the Tervuursevest.
Parking is not allowed on the KU Leuven university sports centre site.

Walking from the car park to the SMAC
Bodart car park
The Bodart car park is 400 metres from the SMAC. Parking is available with a parking disc.
