Yes, both recreational and competitive athletes can consult a doctor at the SMAC. The decision to start physiotherapy at the SMAC is made in consultation with the doctor.

- To start sports physiotherapy, you need a referral letter from a physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor at UZ Leuven. First, book an appointment at the SMAC.
- For your first appointment, please bring any relevant documents (medical imaging, reports, etc.).
- For your first sports physiotherapy session, bring appropriate sportswear.
No, UZ Leuven groups these invoices by period and sends them to your home address by post.
Consultations take place both at the university sports centre in the SMAC and at the Pellenberg campus. Check the schedule to see when and where you can visit.
