This spring, the rehabilitation patients of two hospital wards of the Pellenberg campus turned into artists. During weekly workshops and together with Atelier Sarah Versteele they've created two unique and personal works that will be on display on the campus.

This afternoon a new running track has been opened At the UZ Leuven Gasthuisberg campus. It is one of the walking and running loops Sport Vlaanderen is installing on business parks and near hospitals. The double loop in the Alexianenpark and Bertembos invites people for a sportive break.

A smart plaster will soon provide cancer patients with thorough follow-up at home. The system will continuously monitor the patient's values and communicates with the entire medical team. This allows rapid intervention, while the patient can stay in familiar surroundings.

Researchers announce the first results of a Phase 3 clinical study of selinexor as maintenance therapy for advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer. Compared with the placebo-controlled group, patients receiving the treatment showed a 30% decrease of hazard for progression or death.
