Wash your hands regularly

Good hand hygiene is essential to prevent the spread of bacteria and reduce infections.

Your healthcare provider will always wash or disinfect their hands before and after providing care. You and your visitors are also involved in maintaining good hand hygiene.

Hand sanitizer is available in public areas, patient rooms, waiting rooms, and examination rooms.

As an admitted patient, you can watch the hand hygiene video on the UZ Leuven-TV channel using the interactive screen next to your bed.
