Location and accessibility

Parking

Parking for parents

  • Is your baby being admitted for an extended period? And will you visit the hospital several times during a certain period? Then take advantage of a weekly subscription.

  • As a parent of a premature child born before the age of 34 weeks or a child with other conditions requiring long admission, you can park for free throughout the admission.

  • Ask for an attestation for this and have it validated at the cash desk.

2 types of rooms

The N* ward has 2 types of rooms:

  1. Mother-child rooms
In these rooms, both mother and baby are patients. This is usually the case during the first days of the maternity period. In this room, it is possible for the mother's partner to stay overnight as well.
  2. Rooming-in rooms
The mother is no longer hospitalised as a patient, but the baby still needs further monitoring and care. In these rooms, one of the two parents has the option of staying overnight with the baby as much as possible. Do not feel obliged to do so, but if you do stay overnight, we expect you to help with the care.

To make this care possible for everyone, you may move from a mother-child room to a rooming-in room during your stay.

Parents' lounge

The parents' lounge is located next to the ward behind the glass door. Here you can meet other parents or spend some time in a different environment that is still close to the ward. You may also use the terrace.
