Obstetrics

The obstetrics department is responsible for the follow-up of all matters related to pregnancy and childbirth.

1 companion allowed

There is 1 adult companion (18+) allowed in the examination room for the ultrasounds and consultations in the gynecology and obstetrics department.

The companion can be, for example, the partner or the accompanying midwife, but not both together. Children should stay at home.

Dagziekenhuis 7

Patients come to this day hospital for examinations and minor procedures that require more time than is available during a regular consultation. Monitor checks on pregnant patients are also done here.

Delivery ward

In the delivery ward, childbirth takes place. You will stay in the delivery room from admission until about two hours after the delivery. Scheduled C-sections and emergency C-sections are performed in the operating rooms of the delivery ward.

Op deze eenheid worden vrouwen opgenomen met een verhoogd risico op problemen tijdens de zwangerschap en na de bevalling.

This ward admits babies who are born prematurely, or who require further follow-up and treatment because of a condition.

Neonatal intensive care unit

Babies who are born prematurely or who require further intensive monitoring and treatment because of a condition are admitted to this ward.
